Today, Montana-based Americana has taken on a bluegrass phenomenon kitchen dweller is excited to announce that they will be performing for the first time in Juneau, Alaska this coming July 26th. The show also serves as a hometown visit for the band's bassist, Joe Funk, who was born and raised in Juneau. “Growing up in Southeast Alaska was a blessing,” Funk told Backwoodsman Magazine in a recent interview. “The environment I grew up in had unlimited access to real wild areas. It was an absolute privilege. I lived along a salmon river that was frequented by bears. When there were brown bears Instead of walking miles through meadows and woods, my friends and I would go duck hunting all season after school, and the northern mallards would become extinct. Sometimes I would skip morning classes when the weather was bad. Once there was enough snow in the higher elevations, I would move on to skiing. Our local ski area was incredible with two lifts. terrain and the hiking access from the summit was comparable to any resort in the world.”

The band's long-awaited fourth studio album. seven devils It was released earlier this month. The album was produced by Grammy Award winner Glenn Brown (Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass). Montana's rising quartet continues to redefine the boundaries of bluegrass, folk, and rock with the Seven Devils. Inspired by Dante's epic journey through the Nine Rings of Hell, this album takes listeners on a similar exploration. Dwellers invites listeners to treat this as a musical journey into themselves.

The Kitchen Dwellers will kick off their spring tour on March 31st in Hartford, Conn., with support from Chris Jacobs. Highlights of the tour include two nights at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York City, two nights at his LAWN at the Surf Hotel, and three nights at the iconic Mishawaka Amphitheater in Colorado.
