I read an interview with Trump Time magazine last night. It took me about an hour and a half to read the entire bone-chilling transcript. Although he managed to get some of his policies on point, he rarely answered the interviewer's questions, going off topic, repeating the same things, and often making gibberish. The interview left no doubt that this man is incapable of developing the strategy the administration plans to implement.
I've been thinking a lot about the invisible brains behind Trump, and I'm relieved to see Project 2025 being scrutinized by the media now. I know it's been discussed in articles here before, but I was really happy to read how organized and well-funded this effort is. That's horrible.
Project 2025 is a broad right-wing blueprint for how the next Republican president, Trump or not, will run the country for the foreseeable future. The project, which is funded by the Heritage Foundation, the Koch Brothers, and a vast and secretive black-finance network, enlists at least 80 far-right organizations and organizations.
The 30-chapter, 920-page book states that the conservative fighters' plan is to “defund the Justice Department, dismantle the FBI, dissolve the Department of Homeland Security, and eliminate the Departments of Education and Commerce.” It is said that
Project 2025“Rescue the country from the domination of the radical left,” begins with an agenda and people ready from day one. There's even a hiring section where you can apply for an appointment to start a job on day one of the Trump administration.

I remember the horror of 2016. I turned off the TV around 9 o'clock. I couldn't take it anymore. I went to bed thinking there had to be a way out of this situation. That can't happen. This year, people are saying they don't know if they'll be able to watch on election night. That's too traumatic. In 2016, I remember thinking that my sobriety was in jeopardy. I wonder if it will be like that this year too.
So I registered with Third Act Bay Area. They're not just tackling elections, they're also tackling climate change. This time I'm thinking of doing postcards instead of phone or text banking. Vote Forward is also running a letter-writing campaign to Americans living in battleground states and abroad.
