On Tuesday morning, “Stereophonic'' and “Hell's Kitchen'' emerged as the most nominated productions at the 2024 Tony Awards, amid an especially busy Broadway season for new plays and musicals.
David Adjmi's play about a 1970s band recording an album and Alicia Keys' musical about their upbringing in New York each received 13 nominations.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Renée Ellis Goldsberry announced the nominations live on CBS and YouTube, with nominations beginning in the Best Musical category, which included “Hell's Kitchen,” “Illinois,” “The Outsiders,” “Suffus,” ” Water” has been added. Celebrities nominated for acting include William Jackson Harper for “Uncle Vanya.” Eddie Redmayne “Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club” Jessica Lange and Jim Parsons in The Mother Play, Rachel McAdams in Mary Jane, Leslie Odom Jr. in Pearly Victorious, Daniel Radcliffe in Pearly Victorious, “Merrily We Roll Along” Sarah Paulson and Corey Stoll in “Appropriate,” Liev Schreiber in “Doubt: A Parable,” and Jeremy Strong in “Appropriate.” “Enemy of the People” And Michael Stuhlbarg of the Patriots.
Numerous notable recording artists also contributed to the music, including Arcade Fire's Will Butler on “Stereophonic,” David Byrne on “Here Lies Love,” and Jamestown Revival on “The Outsiders.” has been nominated.

The 77th Tony Awards will once again be hosted by Ariana DeBose and will be held on June 16th at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York. The ceremony, hosted by the Broadway League and American Theater Wing, will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. To be eligible for the award, the work must have been published between April 28, 2023 and April 25, 2024.
