The 2024 Tony Awards ceremony, which recognizes outstanding Broadway productions, was held last night (June 16th) at Lincoln Center in New York City.
This year, many A-list stars and veteran stage actors were nominated, drawing attention to the annual awards ceremony. “The characters are definitely inspired by the city and my experiences with individuals and people, and I think that gives it a richness and a relatability,” Keys explained of the musical.
