Highlights from tvN's 'Genie's Kitchen 2' have been revealed!
“Jinny's Kitchen 2” is a show that explores the inner workings of a Korean restaurant led by a dedicated boss and passionate employees.
This time, the restaurant's second location opens in Iceland and welcomes customers, with boss Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-sik, and new staff member Go Min-si serving up piping hot food. Ahead of its premiere, tvN's “Genie's Kitchen 2” has revealed three reasons to look forward to the show.
The first traditional Korean restaurant in Iceland
Lee Seo-jin, who fell in love with gomtang 10 years ago, is making his dream come true in “Genie's Kitchen 2.” Despite Iceland's harsh climate, he opened “Genie's Pot,” the country's first Korean restaurant, serving hearty gomtang and a variety of Korean dishes adapted to local tastes.
There were fears that the cold Icelandic weather would slow business, but the turnout has been surprisingly impressive, with staff amazed at the steady stream of customers and long queues, wondering if they would be able to cope until closing time. Additionally, the “Jinny's Kitchen” series is showing signs of achieving record sales, and Iceland's first Korean restaurant, “Jinny's Pot”, has proven a phenomenal success.
Employee promotion and new intern Go Min-si
This season, CEO Lee Seo-jin's bold decision will bring about major changes in the roles of employees. In the newly released poster, Jung Yu-mi is promoted to executive director, Park Seo-joon is promoted to a department manager position, and Choi Woo-sik, who has worked as an intern for many years, is suddenly promoted to assistant manager, attracting attention.
