I have this stainless steel mixer and it is truly one of my most beloved gadgets. I use it mainly to make cookie dough but it is also handy for making any kind of dough without the hassle of whisking and whipping. To be honest, I considered myself a baker (semi-homemade) like Sandra Lee but since I got this machine, I have started making so many things from scratch that I would never have thought of. I have made waffle batter, mashed potatoes, royal icing, buttercream icing, zucchini muffins and bread, brookies (brownie cookies), brownies, sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, molasses cookies, and cheesecake.
