Promising reviews: “As you can see in my pictures of the before and after, this paint is amazing and has really transformed my dated kitchen… First, I thoroughly cleaned my wood cabinets with KRUD KUTTER PC32 Pre-Paint Cleaner/TSP Replacement. I had read many reviews of this cleaner and heard it was great for removing grease and dirt, but it really did a great job. I sanded the cabinets. Next, I primed the cabinets with a special wood primer. Once the primer was dry, I used Nuvo Paint on the cabinets. I applied 4 very thin layers of paint. It's important to keep each layer very thin because it will dry weirdly. I found that if any paint pools in the corners of my cabinets, they will crack, so make sure to keep the layers thin. I also purchased regular brushes in addition to this kit. Some blogs said to use foam brushes but I didn't like the way the paint looked on the cabinets with those.” — Danielle Joy
