This particular 10-speed mixer includes a flat beater, dough hook, wire whip, mixing bowl, lid, and pouring shield. Mixing bowl holds up to 5 quarts. That's enough dough to make 9 dozen cookies, if you prefer math to understand numbers.
I own this stainless steel mixer and it truly is one of my most beloved gadgets. I mainly use it to make large batches of cookie dough, but it's also handy for making all kinds of dough without a lot of whipping and whisking. TBH, I thought of myself as a baker (semi-homemade) like Sandra Lee, but since I got this machine I've made so many things from scratch that I never would have thought of. I made! I made waffle batter, mashed potatoes, royal icing, buttercream icing, zucchini muffins and bread, brookies (brownie cookies), brownies, sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, molasses cookies, and cheesecake!
Promising reviews: “I've had a KitchenAid mixer for over 20 years and just upgraded to this mixer. I redid my kitchen and the accent color is aqua so it looks great on the counter. I wanted a little more power. “So this is perfect for me.” “I bake a lot, so I can't live without my KitchenAid mixer. I also have a spiralizer and an attachment for making pasta. It's been a big hit. !I will never use anything other than KitchenAid.” —T Jay Brand
