Today is Women's History Month, and Central Florida's Disney parks and resorts are celebrating with limited-time food and drink offerings. Each snack or drink is inspired by an iconic female Disney character or designed by a female culinary artist. But fans are criticizing the Walt Disney World Resort dining team for being short-sighted when it comes to Minnie Mouse's kitchen sink ice cream sundae.
“The Kitchen Sink” is a permanent menu item at several popular spots throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. The Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort offers a giant ice cream that includes 8 scoops of ice cream in various flavors, 1 1/2 cups of various hot sauces, 1 banana, 2 cupcakes, chocolate syrup, and 1 cup. We offer a silver bowl (with faucet). / 2 strawberry and pineapple toppings, 1/4 cup marshmallow fluff, 1 brownie, 1 full-sized candy bar, 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, assorted sprinkles, chips, nuts, coconut, 1 tablespoon mini candies , and a whole can of whipped cream!

Magic Kingdom Park makes things a little more intimate. At the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street in USA, you can enjoy a Mickey Sink Sundae in a souvenir plastic “sink.” Choose from two flavors: scooped ice cream and hot fudge or caramel. Top with whipped cream and 2 maraschino cherries.
For Women's History Month, Hollywood Scoop at Disney's Hollywood Studios is offering a Minnie Kitchen Sink Sundae, a twist on the Mickey Sink Sundae. Served in a Minnie Mouse kitchen sink plastic souvenir dish, you can choose from hand-scooped ice cream topped with red vanilla whipped cream, chocolate syrup, white “polka dot” sprinkles, cookie ears, and chocolate ribbons. . ” This is a limited time dessert until March 31st.

This frozen treat is controversial because it's delicious. Disney influencer @shooch recently talked about sundaes on TikTok, saying it's like Walt Disney World Resort telling women to “get back in the kitchen.”

“It's a totally vile irony to use kitchen sink snacks during Women's History Month to empower women to be…equal to men,” the influencer said. “…I think it’s a bad look to offer a kitchen sink during Women’s History Month.”
Opinions were divided about Disney's new food.
“While we all lose our civil rights, let's celebrate Women's History Month by putting ice cream in the kitchen sink,” @grasshopper23 wrote. “no thanks.”

Some thought people were overreacting.
