A couple converted their school bus into their dream tiny home in just three months after having to leave home in a hurry.
They converted an old school bus built in 2001 into a modern living space with plenty of storage space.
Will and Arwamoore (@arwamoore), a couple from California, shared a YouTube video touring the small home bus they converted.
Due to the urgent need to leave home, they built everything quickly in less than four months.
The couple divided up the work, with Will focusing on systems like plumbing, propane and electrical, and Arwa handling the woodwork and interior decoration.
in a small space
As soon as you board the bus, you'll find cabinets and storage space built into the dashboard to store the couple's shoes and various other items.
Araw also built a small closet with a hinged door that blocks the front window to store clothes, toiletries, laundry, and coats.
“When you have doors where you can't see the steering wheel or the bus driver's seat, you forget you're on a bus and you feel like you're at home,” she said.
Opposite the closet is a dinette with seating and a table that doubles as a couch with additional storage space.
This small home bath also came equipped with a complete shower that was assembled in three days, which was one of the non-negotiables.
The toilet at Nature's Head is housed inside the shower.
Just a foot away from the bathroom was the kitchen, which was equipped with a sink, oven, refrigerator, counter space, storage drawers, and a spice rack.
“We didn't have to downsize our clothes or kitchen to fit into this bus, so you get a good idea of how much storage space we actually have here,” Arwa said. Ta.
“The bedroom is one step away from the kitchen,” she added, showing how the oven and counter space both touch the bed.
The couple showed off the exterior of a small house with a rooftop deck and solar power system.
