Cat owners are all too familiar with how their pets find homes in the strangest places around the house.
Whether it's in a coat or jacket or in the bathtub, cats really have an idea of their own.
But earlier this month, one particular cat found himself in an unfortunate situation that made headlines online.
Businesswoman Jada Dixon Williams was shocked when she returned home to find maintenance workers plastering her kitchen walls.
Not only that, but her adorable kitten was also left trapped inside.
According to the Mirror, Jada became worried when she returned home one evening and couldn't find her kitten, Raymonte, known as Tay Tay.
But the 25-year-old heard her cat scratching behind the new drywall and feared she was trapped inside the pipe.
“It was very scary. It really felt like my child was trapped behind the wall. I didn't know if my child was in the pipe or in the drain and I was nervous,” she said. Told.

“I called emergency maintenance and the building management, but the phone lines were down. So I called the police, and they told me to try and break through the wall, which I did. I tried to do it carefully. I didn't want to kick through the wall and burst the pipes because the cat could drown.
“They asked me to bring a knife because I didn't have a hammer. I didn't have one either. The police asked me to gouge the wall, so I did that. When he opened the hole, he said to him, he stuck his foot out and I was like, 'Oh my god, I'm really back here.'I was trying to calm down, but it was really crazy.”
A viral TikTok video uploaded to the popular video platform under the handle @myworld.wejustliveinit shows the cat sticking its head out before escaping through a small hole made by Jada.

“It was a little bit of a relief to know he wasn't deep behind the walls. I was happy to see him sticking his paws out. He's everything to me. I have two cats. But they are everything,” the cat lover added.
Many people flocked to the comment section of the video to express their reactions.
One person wrote: “Thank God they saved me and I didn't suffocate. I'm so sorry this happened.”
“When maintenance starts, cats get curious so I always catch two cats. This is my worst nightmare,” added the second man.
