A breakfast and brunch spot has arrived at Ronkonkoma's Station Yard development.
On Monday, the project's developer, Tri-Tech Real Estate Company, announced that Toast Coffee + Kitchen will be built in a 5,004-square-foot space across from the LIRR station.
“We are excited to welcome a premium coffee and restaurant facility like Toast to Station Yard,” said Jake Horowitz, vice president of Colliers, TRITEC's distributor. “Toast has built a loyal following by providing quality food and coffee to patrons over the years, and we can’t wait to see them thrive at Station Yard.”

This is the fifth time we have held a toast on the island.
The first Toast opened in Port Jefferson in 2002, then moved to a larger location in Port Jeff Station in 2022. He opened the Patchogue store in 2015. Bayshore followed in his 2018. Nassau's first Toast opened in Long Beach last summer.
Toast founder Terry Scarlatos said partnering with TRITEC on Station Yards was a no-brainer.
“As a Ronkonkoma local who has witnessed first-hand the incredible revitalization efforts, I believe this opportunity is a dream come true,” he said.
Skarlatos said this Toast will be different from his store, with a dedicated grab-and-go area for commuters.
They plan to launch in Ronkonkoma sometime this summer.
Toast joins Lucharitos, Great South Bay Brewery, Vespa Italian Kitchen & Bar, Poki Poke and Redfine Meals at Station Yards. More leases are in the works.
TRITEC is building the Station Yard project in multiple phases, with the first phase of the 489-unit apartment complex, Alston Station Yard, completed in 2021.
The current development, called The Core, will include 388 apartment units, 70,000 square feet of retail space, 16,500 square feet of office space, and a public plaza. Completion is expected in late spring or early summer.
