OXNARD, Calif. — Primal Kitchen, a manufacturer of sauces and condiments, has launched its first product line of dipping sauces.
Each sauce is inspired by restaurant-style seasonings and designed to easily upgrade your everyday meals. The products are formulated without seed oils, artificial sweeteners, or cane sugar, and contain less than 2 grams of sugar per serving. Flavors include Chicken Dippin, a mustard and apple cider vinegar sauce sweetened with pear juice; A special sauce blended with mustard, mayonnaise, and pickle relish. Served with hamburgers and fries. Yum Yum Sauce is a sweet and tangy sauce for steak, shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Avocado limes are used in things like tacos and burritos.
“Dipping sauces have quickly become a staple in consumers' pantries, with one in four U.S. households now purchasing this subcategory,” said Audrey Berger, head of commercial strategy, insights and planning at Primal Kitchen. “I am doing so,” he said. “However, the options currently on store shelves rely heavily on seed oils like soy and canola, refined sugars, and artificial ingredients. Our new dipping sauces are made with the high-quality ingredients you've come to expect from Primal Kitchen. to bring you all the restaurant's favorite flavors.
All four sauces are currently available online from the company's website in 10-ounce bottles. Primal Kitchen plans to roll out its products to retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Thrive Market and select Walmart stores in May.
