I'm very interested in aesthetics. Even before I rented my first apartment, I fantasized about decorating every room the way I saw fit. I've saved a ton of interior posts on Instagram and created countless Pinterest boards that will hopefully end up in my place. One of the things I've pinned, admired, and virtually stalked all over the internet over and over again was Drew Barrymore's beautiful air fryer, the one with white icing. When I finally moved into my apartment, it was the first thing I wanted. I also ordered them for Christmas last year, but was a little disappointed when I opened the new shoes instead. So imagine my delight when I was tasked with testing and trying out some of Drew Barrymore's beautiful kitchen appliances to see if they worked as well as they looked. Considering the brand name and how great it is, they had a lot to live up to.
Fortunately, I was able to receive five products sent to me: an air fryer, a double-toaster toaster, an electric gooseneck kettle, and a slow cooker that just happened to be on sale. I've used at least one of these products every day for the past three months to see if they're quality appliances that go beyond aesthetics. Below, you'll find my thoughts on beautiful home appliances, from what I love, to what I'd like to change, to what I think is worth investing in.
air fryer
beautiful 6 quart air fryer
You can see why this is one of the most popular hero products in this line. This is a top-of-the-line air fryer, and I know because he's used at least three different ones so far. The beautiful 6-quart is a classic basket-style fryer that can cook meals for a small family of 2-3 people in an instant. Out of all the home appliances, this is my favorite. I use it everyday. It looks chic when you sit on the countertop, and That also works wonders.
Equipped with a touchscreen display, you can easily set the desired temperature and duration. It has four settings: air fry, dehydrate, reheat, and roast, and it saves the temperature and time settings from the last time you used it, which is handy if you want to air fry chicken nuggets for lunch every day. I air fry potatoes, roast chicken, and reheat almost everything I make in it. To be honest, I don't use the dehydration function. There's no reason. Now I realize that I rarely use the microwave except when making canned soup. For novice cooks who often get frustrated with recipes and stovetops, this air fryer has made cooking meals feel less like work and more like fun.

What I like:
the basket is wide: I cooked two large pieces of salmon. and cubed potatoes all at once.
cook everything perfectly: As I mentioned earlier, I have owned other air fryers before. Some worked just as well but were incredibly clunky, others looked about the same but couldn't get the job done. The air fryer I used previously cost more than twice as much as this one, was incredibly difficult to figure out, and couldn't get my food super crispy. I was skeptical about this brand's TurboCrisp technology because I thought they were all the same, but I was pleasantly surprised that my usually soggy chicken tenders turned out perfectly crispy in this air fryer. .
The basket is very easy to clean: I have to wipe it after every use, but sometimes I'm too lazy to clean it after a few days even if I keep using it. The nonstick coating is one of the best of all the airfryer I've ever used.
It's really amazing: To be honest, I don't think the photo shows it. I really like it because it's very beautiful and fashionable. Even when I come home and the kitchen is a mess with dishes piled up in the sink, just looking at it makes me feel happy.
What I don't like:
There are no presets: As a beginner in the kitchen, I am painfully unsure of the temperature at which to cook meat. The airfryer comes with a booklet, but it would be nice to have automatic presets.
No preheating: So this is not necessarily a bad thing. All you have to do is toss the food in from the beginning. However, I was a little worried about the timing and whether I would be able to cook at that temperature to the end.
toaster
beautiful 2 slice toaster
In my opinion, Drew Barrymore's brand should have been called “Down Right Gorgeous.” Because this two-slice toaster is exactly that. Like the air fryer, it has a touch screen display with options for bagels, freezing, and reheating. You can also adjust the time you toast your food. What makes this toaster really neat is the slide-out crumb tray, which makes it super easy to clean.

size: 6.57 inches (L) x 11.06 inches (W) x 8.11 inches (H)
What I like:
it's gorgeous:To be honest, I think most toasters work the same way. But the reason I love this is because of its look. As I said before, I'm into aesthetics and having all the appliances match, down to the toaster, is genius to me and exactly what I want in my kitchen.
sliding crumb tray: I didn't think I needed this, but it's very nice to have. I always threw the toaster upside down over the sink, making a mess in the process and praying all the crumbs would come out.
Reheat function: Do you or your kids ever make frozen waffles and then forget them once you make them? Yeah, me too. The reheat feature allows you to reheat it without overcooking and leaving it burnt. I think this is the feature I've used the most since I got it.
What I don't like:
Corded plugs can be longer: This is a personal issue, but where I store my toaster, I wish the cord was as long as the other toaster.
There is no “keep warm” function: Again, this is a personal issue. My previous toaster had this feature and I really liked it. However, the reheating feature of this product still gets the job done.
kettle
Beautiful 1 liter electric gooseneck kettle
My favorite home appliance after the airfryer is this gooseneck electric kettle. Like everything else from this brand, it looks very beautiful sitting on a bar counter. I didn't purchase any of these products, but I especially like how affordable the kettle is. It looks a lot like the Fellow Stagg one, but costs only $30. And if you ask me, it looks even better. Plus, it looks great when matched with other home appliances.
And it works as well as it looks. It holds about 5 cups of tea, boils water in less than 4 minutes, and makes the most satisfying pour without spilling. To be honest, I'm surprised it's still raining consistently after three months.

size: 10.86″ (L) x 5.47″ (W) x 9.56″ (H)
What I like:
very convenient:I used to hate electric kettles. I thought (silly, I know) that it couldn't boil water as well as a stovetop kettle. But this kettle has changed my mind. The water comes out hot enough to boil in half the time, but I usually just boil enough so it takes even less time.
very sophisticated: As I said before, this is my favorite appliance after the air fryer. I like the chic look. Unlike other bulky electric kettles, this electric kettle is unobtrusive and very easy to use.
What I don't like:
Corded plugs can be longer: This is also a personal issue, but it would have been perfect if it was a little longer.
slow cooker
Beautiful 6-quart programmable slow cooker
The slow cooker was one of the least used appliances, but when I tried it, it worked great. Compared to a traditional crockpot, the Beautiful Slow Cooker gets the job done just as well, but looks better. This slow cooker has a smooth touchscreen surface, cool touch handles, and a large removable cooking pot that can hold the 12 pounds of small ham your family had for Easter dinner. Also, unlike a crockpot, a removable pot looks good enough to serve on a fancy table.
Colors available: 8
size: 11.22 inches (length) x 11.92 inches (width) x 17.16 inches (height)
What I like:
It is very easy to use: Maybe it's because I've always found Crockpots and InstaPots overwhelming with all the buttons, but this slow cooker is so easy to operate. It's very easy to use! Even my girlfriend's 78 year old grandmother (who is not tech savvy at all) finds this easy and uses it all the time.
What I don't like:
It's pretty big: It looks very nice, but it's quite large and won't fit on your regular countertop. That being said, it does make storage a little more cumbersome. I live in a small attic-style apartment on the outskirts of New York City, so space is limited and I wanted to use this to make soups and stews on a regular basis, but in the end… I ended up giving it to my grandmother who had more space. . However, if you have the space, especially if you have a large family, I think it's worth the investment.
