hell's kitchen, A new Broadway musical inspired by the New York upbringing of multi-Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Alicia Keys and featuring her R&B hits opens April 20 at the Shubert Theater. . Directed by Michael Greif and based on the book by Christopher Diaz, the show stars Maleah Joy Moon as Ali, Tony nominee Shoshana Bean as Jersey, Tony nominee Brandon Victor Dixon as Davis, and Nack. Starring Chris Lee and Keshia Lewis as Miss Liza Jane.

“Growing up in Hell's Kitchen, there was a lot of darkness for me,” Keys said as he celebrated the night with the cast and creative team. “But I also think Broadway could have represented that.'' Ms. Keyes now opens the door to audiences like her younger self, who thought Broadway was a faraway place, saying, “You don't belong here.'' We want to spread the word, “You'll definitely like it.''
