You can't talk about cute puppies without mentioning Scout. She finished her super adventurous drive to Cariso Plains National Monument yesterday and is relaxing today. It was amazing. The hills are covered with colorful flowers, and a sentry stands in the distance on the snow-capped peak. And everything else is very green. Here's another one from my stash of about 900 photos of Scout posing in the pose above and me.

There are two cool events happening this month at Unity Shoppe. The first is a spring food drive that takes place throughout the month. They are collecting essential items such as soups, stews, rice, cereals, canned and dried beans, cooking oil, pasta sauce, and canned fruits and vegetables. And to make things even more exciting, they're teaming up with the Santa Barbara Trapeze Company to host a one-day community event next Saturday, April 27th, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. To do.
