Celebrity chefs show off their kitchens every time they air a new episode, but we rarely get a peek inside their kitchen pantries. But the Pioneer Woman (aka Ree Drummond) took to her Instagram to reveal her newly renovated pantry, which she says has become her new happy place. It also has a kitchen sink, floor-to-ceiling storage, and a library ladder (yes, Library ladder! )this place will become everyone's favorite place in the house.
“This is my new pantry,” Drummond wrote in the caption of the post. “The cabinets are packed with plates, platters, and bowls in a variety of patterns, colors, and sizes. The shelves are filled with measuring and mixing containers and the ingredients you need to cook or bake. In the drawers. is full of things I want to throw into it.”
She continued, “For the past few months, whenever we've had a gathering at home, we've somehow found ourselves huddled in the pantry, chatting, laughing, and crying with our loved ones. I got the alarm and went straight to the pantry. Ladd said, “What are you doing?'' I said, “I'm hiding in the place where I feel happiest.'' ”
“I love library ladders!” one person commented on Drummond's post. Another said: “Thanks for sharing!” It's my dream pantry!
Of course, the shelves and cabinets are painted Pioneer Woman-approved turquoise blue, which stands out against the white marble countertops and backsplash. A library ladder can be used on either bank of cabinets, and Drummond installed library lights above one bank of cabinets closest to the door. The fusion of pantry and library aesthetic choices feels really good and actually makes a lot of sense.
