Eight premises in South Essex have been given new food hygiene ratings. Listed on the Food Standards Agency website.
The scheme gives companies a rating from 5 to 0, with 5 indicating very good hygiene standards and 0 indicating urgent improvement is required.
The South Essex properties that have achieved the new hygiene rating are:
Southend:
The dog cafe at 34 Barnstaple Road, Thorpe Bay, was given a rating of 5 out of 5 after an assessment on April 9.
Oyster Creek Kitchen at The Sun Shelter, 6 Western Esplanade, Westcliff, was given a rating of 5 out of 5 after an assessment on April 8.
South Essex Property Services Ltd, Civic 1, Victoria Avenue, Southend, received a rating of 5 out of 5 after an April 8 review.
Wilson's Coffee Shop, 11 Station Road, Westcliff, was given a rating of 5 out of 5 following an April 4 review.
North, Coffee And Wine, located at 78 Broadway in Lee, was given a 5 out of 5 rating on April 2nd.
Patisserie Valerie, 52 High Street, Southend, was given a rating of 4 out of 5 following an assessment on March 19.
Subway, 85 Princes Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, was given a rating of 5 out of 5 following an assessment on January 15.
Royal Wok, 405 London Road, Westcliff, was given a rating of 4 out of 5 following a review on March 13.
