“My kitchen incorporates chalky green tiles, forest green Sandburg wallpaper, teal cabinets, as well as a grass green Le Creuset salt and pepper grinder and assorted flower pots. Of course, the plants themselves give the kitchen a fresh, green feel and perfectly complement the pink hues.”

“I have to confess, as much as I love a stripped-down kitchen with pink, I'm dying to have rose-colored cabinets,” Murray says. “If you're a pink lover who feels the same way, give it a try!”

“Once you've installed your pink cabinets, color-conscious minimalists might want to keep the rest of the design monochrome to help the pink pop,” suggests Murray. “Marble worktops are always popular, as is brass hardware.”

“But if a maximalist color mash-up is your style, play with patterned wallpaper and color-pop bar stools,” she says. “Having bookshelves in your kitchen is also a great way to add some personality.”
