Active Plumbing Supply has officially opened its seventh branch and third showroom in Northeast Ohio.
On April 25, the company, along with members of the North Coast Chamber of Commerce, opened the new Active Kitchen & Bath Design Center at 33540 Pin Oak Parkway. At Avon Lake.
Bryce Barber, the center's director of sales, said the new showroom space has many features suitable for both personal and business kitchen and bathroom designs.
“We think this is a great opportunity for us. It's our only location in Lorain County,” Barber said. “This is a kitchen and bath showroom.
“We sell faucets, showers, sinks, vanities and countertops. We also sell to builders, remodelers, homeowners and handymen.”
Barber said items in the new showroom will have different price points to offer something for everyone.
This room offers a variety of design templates for almost every item.
The Avon Lake space, which was once the offices of a karate studio, has been completely transformed.
Although the team encountered some hurdles during construction of the new showroom, Barber said he is excited about the final product.
“We have been working on building this showroom at this location for over a year,” he said. “Work on this location took over a year, as several construction roadblocks delayed the opening.
“When we came in, nothing like this existed. We had to remove some walls and open up some areas. We're very excited. We can be part of Avon Lake. I'm excited about that.”
North Coast Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Steve Corcoran said the new showroom is more than just a good opportunity for the community.
Corcoran said the space is another crown jewel for the business in Avon Lake's burgeoning Pin Oak Parkway neighborhood.
“We are really pleased to have Active Plumbing as part of the chamber,” he said. “They bring a lot to this community in terms of their expertise and what they can offer.
“That's what we're looking for. Why not have those companies join the Chamber?”
Barber said he and the Active Kitchen and Bath team are eager to begin serving the Avon Lake community.
“We’re asking people who are looking to redo their bathroom or kitchen to be inspired,” he said. “Please send me some photos of what kind of space you want it to be.
“From there, we look at what space is available and design the look you want.”
Active Kitchen and Bath's Avon Lake showroom is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and closed on Sunday.
