The annual Cribbs Kitchen Burger Cook-Off is back in town. Sixteen teams are preparing to grill to raise money for Childhood Cancer Partners of the Carolinas.
This delicious event brings together a talented community of local chefs, burger enthusiasts, and passionate community members for some friendly competition.
The Cribs Kitchen Burger Cook-off was first held in 2015 and has since become an annual event dedicated to fun, delicious food, and philanthropy. This contest has raised more than $530,000 in eight years and he plans to raise even more in the future.
“Children's Cancer Partners supports more than 2,300 children in the Carolinas battling cancer,” said Aly Ruggiero of CCP Communications. “We provide meals, travel and accommodations to children and their families to ensure they receive the best specialized care for their specific cases.This is our largest event to date, so this year we will We hope to raise a lot of funds.”
What you need to know about Cribs Kitchen Burger Cook-Off
The fun begins at noon on Saturday, May 4th at the corner of West Main Street and Daniel Morgan Avenue. The event starts at 5 p.m. and ends around 6 p.m., or until there are no more burgers to sample.
The event will feature a panel of judges to determine the ultimate burger chef of 2024, but the community will decide which team will win the People's Choice Award. After you've sampled all the delicious burgers, don't forget to vote for your favorite.
The event also includes live music and other fun family-friendly activities.
Here's the lineup scheduled for the Burger Cook-off:
- Echo in operation, noon to 1:45 p.m.
- Audible, 2-3:45 p.m.
- Revival, 4-5:45 p.m.
Ticket prices are $10 per ticket during the advance sale period and increase to $12 per ticket on the day of the event. Pre-sale locations are as follows:
