In a small living room, it is perfectly possible to enjoy the benefits of a compact and portable frame without sacrificing the functionality of a traditional kitchen. Cleverly designed homes like the Mobi 02 Heather find creative ways to pack functional features even when available floor space is challenging.
If you happen to come across a brightly colored Scandinavian-style house on European wheels, chances are it's a Mobihaus creation. A popular brand whose trademark is its colorful and eye-catching appearance. At the same time, the company is one of the few in the industry that not only uses Scandinavian minimalism as a source of inspiration, but is actually closely tied to Scandinavian minimalism.
The company's young founder, Bartek, lived and worked in Norway for many years before starting his tiny house business. At the time, tiny living was still in its infancy, not only in Bartek's home country of Poland, but throughout Europe. His house of Mobi continued to grow over the years, making him one of the pioneers in this field. Currently, this is an established and famous tiny house company with a distinctive style. Most of the raw materials for housing are still imported, primarily from Scandinavia. In this way, Mobi House's work goes beyond aesthetics and embodies Scandinavian sustainability principles.
Mobi 02 Heather looks like a lucky charm on wheels. She is easy to find and hard to forget. Although its flashy exterior may seem a bit intimidating for a cabin in the woods, Heather's interior is as calm and neutral as you'd expect from a classic Scandinavian home. Gorgeous woodwork in natural tones is what you can expect from any of her Mobi House models. The windows are not too large, but are strategically placed to maximize light in every part of the home.

Heather Tiny is completely minimalist, with no unnecessary clutter that gets in the way of pure, basic functionality. This is primarily a way to make it look and feel much larger than its modest 6 meters (19.6 ft) overall length. A one bedroom home, Heather can sleep up to 4 people as there is a large convertible sofa in the living room. This multi-functional sofa is designed to provide a large amount of integrated storage and is one of the custom-made amenities found in most She Mobi tiny homes.
Most traditional furniture has been discontinued in favor of modular, versatile, and multifunctional alternatives that help save valuable floor space. The sofa in the living room has become a three-in-one element, occupying very little space. The kitchen does not have the typical table and chairs. If you look closely you can see a decent sized folding table near the main entrance with some chairs stored in the ceiling above it.
With these items tucked away, Heather's kitchen looks like a simple galley-style cooking area with no room for a dining nook. Just a few moves and things will change as if by magic. A folding table and folding chairs create a makeshift breakfast area perfect for two. In other words, Heather reveals a two-in-one kitchen that doubles as a dining area without requiring extra space.

This special setting keeps this compact tiny house from becoming crowded and cluttered as the floor is empty most of the time. Storing chairs in the ceiling may seem unusual at first, but it works. At the same time, this small kitchen has a lot of storage space, including an overhead cupboard. A staircase facing the countertop provides even more storage in the form of cabinets of various sizes. The main appliances in this small but ingenious kitchen are an induction cooktop, refrigerator, and range hood.
Stylistically, all-white cabinetry complements the natural woodwork throughout, highlighted by a dark red bathroom door designed to double as a decorative element. Behind this door is a small bathroom with all the basic amenities, including an eco-friendly composting toilet instead of the traditional version.
In small homes where the bedroom is in the loft area, some people are afraid of climbing up and down uncomfortable ladders, but heather makes it easier. It boasts a sturdy staircase with beautiful handrails on both sides for maximum support.

The bedroom itself aims to recreate the comfort of the traditional version through elements such as full-height protective walls, beautiful openwork handrails, carpeted floors, large windows and essential storage. Natural wood ceilings and walls create a calming atmosphere perfect for rest and relaxation. In terms of functionality, another multipurpose item is easily incorporated into this small area. It's a safety wall that doubles as a spacious bookshelf inside the room.
Despite its compact frame, this lovely little house under 6 feet is designed and equipped for year-round accommodation. Even the smartest design is useless without the necessary equipment to achieve modern standards of comfort. For Heather, underfloor heating and electric heaters are effective in maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in all weather conditions. Mobi 02 Heather is one of those homes that instantly makes you feel at home while offering all the benefits of full mobility.
