Chipotle opened April 22nd with a twist. Digital pre-orders can be picked up at a drive-thru called Chipotlane. Customers can order in advance at chipotle.com or the Chipotle mobile application.
Restaurateur makes virtual kitchen business concept successful
In 2010, Nomie Hamid launched his first brick-and-mortar restaurant, Krazy Kabob, not far from the University of Maryland. Ten years later, the third-generation restaurateur was forced to close his doors for good, so Digital Food realized his hall vision and set up shop in the commercial space that is now his Virtual X Kitchen.
Duke's Grocery opens restaurant in Maryland
Duke's Grocery's sixth location will be a pub-style restaurant in Potomac this fall at the Potomac Village Shopping Center, according to media reports. The Duke's will be the restaurant chain's first location in Maryland.
Silver Diner opens on Avenue in White Marsh with a new menu
Silver Diner, the first Silver Diner in Baltimore County since 2001 and the 10th in Maryland, opened this week with an updated menu. For the first time, Silver Diner is serving breakfast.
