They also noticed the first plastic smell. “It may take several cooking cycles for the odor to improve and eventually become obsolete.”

Another user also noticed the unpleasant smell and found a solution. “Previous reviews indicated that the silicone bumper on the inner tray was the problem, so I removed it and tried again.
