TASK's award-winning short film “A Meal Can Change a Life” was screened at this year's Trenton Film Festival. The film will be screened as part of the Trenton Film Society's inaugural Regional Documentary Festival on Saturday, May 18th at the Passages Theater at Mill Hill Playhouse in Trenton.
TASK films will be shown this Saturday, May 18th, in the 12pm to 3pm block. It was selected to be screened from among 10 of his works on display during Saturday's showcase. Following the screening, Dennis Barricklow, TASK's Director of Private Giving, and Creative Arts Specialist Frank Lettieri Jr., who helped produce, direct and edit the feature, will appear for a Q&A.
“Food Changes Lives” tells the story of longtime TASK friends Deb Kissera, Walter Roberts, Todd Jackson, and Sharon Horne. They believe the compassion and closeness they experienced at the soup kitchen helped them overcome their challenges. Various challenges such as homelessness, addiction, and unemployment.

The festival will be held this Saturday, May 18th, and will be shown in several blocks. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for his TASK film as an audience favorite at the reception, which ends at 8 p.m. Tickets start at just $6 and can be purchased online at TrentonFilmSociety.org.
