The highly anticipated Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen is now open for business. Lamp & Shade had a soft opening on May 20th and 21st, and fully opened on May 22nd.
Located in the former Lampshade Fair storefront, the new restaurant serves an Asian-inspired tapas-style menu and a wide range of drinks. The menu features hot dishes like purple yam balls and squid ink calamari, as well as cold options like yellowfin tuna sushi squares and crispy jackfruit rice. There are also a few larger plates for the table, including hot stone rice and seafood hotpot.
Lamp & Shade's décor playfully matches its name and pays homage to its predecessor with a large mural depicting a trio of people wearing lampshades on their heads, small lamps on every table, and rows of chairs lined with lampshades for photo ops.
The restaurant accepts reservations Sunday through Thursday from 4 PM to 1 AM, and Friday and Saturday from 4 PM to 2 AM. Reservations can be made online. translator.
