“Exciting breaking news! NBA All-Star and entrepreneur Russell Westbrook will join Little Kitchen Academy as an investor and advisory board member! This partnership in collaboration with his Why Not? Foundation marks an important milestone for Little Kitchen Academy and supports our efforts to bring the world of culinary education, food literacy and practical life skills to more underserved communities. Together, we will change lives from the ground up. We have more exciting news to announce this summer and are ready to reveal how this partnership will impact the lives of thousands of kids.”
Westbrook added in a statement, “Our family loves Little Kitchen Academy. Nina and I have taken our children there and seen firsthand the impact their program has had on kids. That's why I want to provide access to their amazing program to kids who might not have access otherwise. I'm excited to join the Advisory Board and collaborate with their team. Their program combines culinary education with practical life skills to foster creativity, curiosity and independence, preparing them for success in the kitchen and beyond.”
This is just one of many big moves Westbrook has made recently off the court.
