CROFTON, Md., May 28, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Titan Hospitality Group, the Mid-Atlantic region's leading restaurant management group with more than 25 years of hospitality experience, is opening a completely renovated location of Smashing Grapes in the Merriweather District of Columbia, Md. The district's first kitchen and wine bar is designed to provide a global wine experience, inviting people to come together and enjoy expert pairings of unique cuisine and world-class wines.
Smashing Grapes brings Mediterranean and other international cuisine to downtown Columbia using locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. In addition to thoughtfully curated and fresh food options, Smashing Grapes offers an extensive list of elegant reds and refreshing whites from Spain, Argentina, Germany, California and more, along with expert wine pairings.
Located across from Merriweather Post Pavilion, the new 7,000-square-foot restaurant has been renovated with a brighter, more modern look and offers indoor and outdoor dining, event space and monthly all-inclusive wine dinners curated by an expert crew. The kitchen and wine bar also feature three private event rooms that seat up to 12 guests, two of which can be connected to accommodate larger groups and one that can be used outdoors.

The location is introducing new Smashing Grapes menu items, including a wine flight, where diners can sample three-ounce sips of different wines, paired with two charcuterie boards. Other menu items include pasta, artisanal pizzas and healthy living options.
