TC Restaurant Group, in partnership with Morgan Warren, has announced the opening of a unique six-story venue, This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, on Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. Located in downtown Nashville's iconic Lower Broadway district, the bar, restaurant and live music concept will be located by the main entrance of the famed Ryman Auditorium.
“We are excited to welcome our first guests to This Bar on Saturday, June 1, ahead of CMA Fest,” said Grant Burlingame, vice president of operations for TC Restaurant Group. “This venue is a labor of love for us and Morgan, and we know his fans and music lovers are going to love the experience they'll get at This Bar. We're proud to open it.”
Following the June 1 opening, fans and guests can follow the bar on social channels (@mwthisbar) and on its website (www.mwthisbar.com) for ongoing updates on operating hours leading up to CMA Fest.
The opening comes on the heels of news that Wallen's recent three-weekend performance at Nissan Stadium contributed to a record weekend of hotel bookings in Nashville, with 75,000 hotel rooms sold between May 3 and May 4, the most in the city's history, according to information released by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp.
Since the start of his career, Warren has primarily shared his music and stories directly with his fans during live shows, and This Bar is an extension of the boy from East Tennessee's life. Paying homage to his Tennessee upbringing, This Bar incorporates key elements that shaped Warren's life, with each floor showcasing photos and memorabilia from his childhood as well as some of his most notable performances to date.
The bar and Tennessee Kitchen was designed and built from the ground up to provide a unique experience on Fourth Avenue adjacent to the historic Ryman Auditorium just off Broadway in the heart of Music City. The venue is approximately 30,000 square feet and features three live music stages, six bars and an open-air rooftop.
The menu, overseen by Warren and Chef Tomasz Wociak, vice president of culinary development for TC Restaurant Group, will feature delicious Southern fare, bar bites, Tennessee specialties and some of Mama Warren's own recipes.
The venue will also feature a gift shop filled with exclusive Morgan Warren merchandise and items paying homage to his favorite Tennessee team.
“Morgan Wallen is one of the music industry's most popular stars, and we're thrilled that he has entrusted us with a concept that will bring him closer to his fans, stay true to his roots, and celebrate his name as one of those special artists who has risen to international fame in a coveted Lower Broadway destination for fans around the world,” said Adam Hessler, president of TC Restaurant Group.
