DAVIDSON — International Kitchen & Bath has been renovating kitchens and bathrooms in the Lake Norman area for 35 years.
Owner and CEO Brian Tarl started his remodeling business in Cornelius, and three years later, he incorporated and moved to his current location at 201 Griffith Street in Davidson.
“We started modestly doing small remodeling projects,” Tarr says. “As we expanded in the area, it quickly became apparent that we needed a place where customers could see our actual cabinets and fixtures in a showroom format,” he says. “We needed a showroom and space to grow, and as our client base expanded and word spread about the quality of our work and the dedication of our team, so did the opportunities to design kitchens, bathrooms and custom spaces,” he continues.
“Kitchen and bathroom remodeling requests were the bulk of our business,” Tarr explains, “Then customers started asking if we could organize their closets or rearrange their mudrooms and pantries.”

Thanks to its team of designers and support staff, International Kitchen & Bath has experienced continued growth through every economic cycle. “Even during economic downturns, we've done full renovations and basic bathroom cabinet replacements, where it makes more sense for homeowners to renovate and stay in their home rather than sell and buy a new home with the latest kitchen and bathroom fixtures,” says Tarle.
This milestone marks the beginning of a significant journey of growth and success.
