You can buy trendy glasses from just £1? Yes, please! Please apply. of The ultimate bargain retailer, Poundland, is releasing a homeware collection this summer that taps into the recently popular ribbed glassware trend.
This home decor trend started out as a premium look sold only by designer brands and has become ubiquitous over the past few years – but this means no one can tell whether you've spent nearly £100 on a ribbed tumbler or wine glass, or just £1.
Ah, that's right! The gorgeous pink ribbed glass tumblers are £1 each and come in a pack of four, so while you're technically paying £4, you get four glasses in return. All in all, hosting this summer is all set for us!
Poundland's ribbed glassware is perfect for summer
Table decorating trends have really taken off in recent years because they combine two of our biggest passions: eating and making things look pretty. And beautiful tableware is essential for these purposes. That's why we're especially excited to see beautiful-looking dining items, like colorful glassware and floral plates, becoming trendy.
To celebrate the launch of its Pepco homeware collection, Poundland took to the streets of Manchester, specifically St Ann's Square, setting up a makeshift room filled with pieces from the new range – and passers-by could hardly believe their ears when they were confronted on-site by TV presenter Anthea Turner about the fact that it was all exclusively available at Poundland.
As mentioned, the glassware collection includes pink ribbed glass tumblers that also come in a dark blue, but that's not all: Sold as a set of four for £6 (£1.50 each), the collection also includes ribbed wine glasses in the same pink and dark blue colour scheme, so you can choose between a contrasting mismatch or a matchy-matchy situation.
But there's a much larger piece for sale too – a ribbed glass serving bowl on a stand and painted the same pretty pink colour is available for the reasonable price of £6, and you can also buy a matching jug for the same price – we want the whole set!
The only downside to this fantastic bargain is that the ribbed glassware from the homewares collection is only available to buy in Poundland's physical stores, not on their website, so if there's no store near you, we've found some equally stylish, ribbed and affordable alternatives – but nothing that can compete with Poundland's price range.
