NEW DELHI: Havells India Ltd on Monday said it has partnered with Jumbo Group, a distributor of home appliances and technology products in the UAE, to expand into the kitchen appliances segment in the country.
With this partnership, Havells India's premium kitchen appliances, including mixer grinders, will be sold online initially on Jumbo's e-commerce website jumbo.ae and subsequently through retail stores, the company said in a statement.
“This partnership marks a significant step not only in strengthening Havells' brand presence but also in expanding our channel reach and significantly increasing customer access to our innovative products,” said Rahul Murgai, Senior Vice President, Havells India.
Jumbo will be the distributor of Havells kitchen appliances in the Middle East, he added.
“With the demand for kitchen appliances on the rise, this partnership will enable us to offer our customers the best products and enhance their lifestyle and convenience,” said Vikas Chadha, CEO, Jumbo Group.
“Given our growing tech-savvy customer base, we will begin with e-commerce and then expand to retail stores to provide maximum accessibility and convenience to our customers,” he added.
The Havells product range offered by Jumbo Group will be backed up by after-sales service provider Jumbo Serve, which will manage warranty and contract services for the entire range of Havells products sold in the UAE, the company said.
