Amy's Kitchen The company is embarking on a new chapter of innovation and transformation, which has resulted in the hiring of Mel Cash to lead the company's sales and marketing strategy. Chief Growth Officerand promoted Leanne Molter to CFO, who will also oversee IT.
Cash will help grow the premium organic food brand and drive sales, marketing and communications activities. He has a comprehensive CPG background, having previously served as Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Nestlé North America.
Additionally, at Kellogg, he served as vice president of global category strategy and marketing for the company's plant-based proteins and growth brands, and previously led marketing for the Special K and Morningstar Farms brands.
As part of this leadership shift, Amy's Kitchen has promoted Leanne Molter from chief transformation and strategy officer to CFO. Molter is also a CPG industry veteran, having spent 20 years in the industry, working for companies such as JM Smucker.
“We are thrilled to have Leanne spearhead the organizational transformation and lead our finance and information technology efforts to achieve our ambitious goals,” Amy's Kitchen President Paul Schieffer said in a statement. “Her strategic vision and operational skills have already driven our business forward, and we are confident she will lead Amy's Kitchen to even greater heights as our Chief Financial Officer.”
Cash and Molter are part of the senior leadership team for the brand, which includes a portfolio of more than 250 organic frozen and packaged meals made with allergy-friendly ingredients.
