CARTHAGE, Ill. – Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce a fun and educational cooking experience focused on diabetes health and education. On Wednesday, July 10, at 10:30 a.m., the hospital will host a healthy cooking class in the Health and Wellness Education Kitchen. The event is open to individuals 18 years of age and older.
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Participants will have the opportunity to cook healthy meals together and take home new recipes, meal prep tools, and other attractive giveaways. This event is more than just a cooking class; it's an opportunity to participate in meaningful learning and discussion about the benefits of eating together and improving overall health.
The class will provide delicious meals and real-world applications to help participants make healthier choices for themselves and their families.

Ashlyn Houseright is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. As Executive Director of Community Health & Wellness at Memorial Hospital, she is dedicated to promoting healthy eating habits and empowering individuals to take control of their health through proper nutrition.
Kayce Furman is a registered nurse committed to helping others improve their health.
