There's a lot of conflicting information out there about Kitchen Nightmares Season 9, so let's set the facts straight.
Kitchen Nightmares is arguably one of the most popular cooking shows of all time. The series ran for seven years and showcased superstar chef Gordon Ramsay and his efforts to save struggling restaurants.
Most of the episodes have become iconic moments in reality TV history, with the Amy's Baking Company debacle being a prime example.
It came as a shock when it was revealed that the show would be revived by Fox in 2023 for season 8.
The show revived the exact same format, with Gordon meeting with the owner of a rapidly failing restaurant and doing everything he can to save it from closing.
After attempting to save eight restaurants in the renewed premiere season, the question now is whether it was the final episode of Kitchen Nightmares.
Will FOX bring back the show for just one final season, or can fans expect even more episodes?
In May 2024, Cinemaholic reported that FOX might renew the series for a second season.
“Ramsay is currently scouting restaurants in New Orleans, Houston and Austin where he can lend his expertise and professional support and is also confirming further episodes,” the media outlet reported.
However, as the network is yet to make an official announcement of the renewal, this is merely speculation or inside information that no one can confirm at this point.
While his fanbase's patience is wearing thin, Gordon currently has his hands full with multiple on-air projects, including “Food Stars” alongside Lisa Vanderpump and the ever-popular “MasterChef.”
But all of the restaurants Gordon visited in season eight are still open today, so that might be all the proof of success FOX needs to keep the show going, with or without the chefs involved.
