Taylor Swift puts out fire in kitchen of New York apartment

Taytay's singer friend, Gracie Abramsjust shared footage of Taylor handling a fire extinguisher and putting out a large flame burning on the kitchen island of her $50 million TriBeCa home … this comes after she spoke out about the incident earlier this week.

Gracie told Billboard that she and Taylor had been up all night working on their new song, “Us,” when a fire broke out in another room. A candle at a dinner party had fallen over and started the fire, but at first neither of them knew what was going on.

Once Gracie finally realised there was a fire inside the house, she pulled out her phone and filmed a barefoot Taylor grabbing a fire extinguisher and fiddling with it before putting out the flames.

Taylor and Gracie left their handbags and shoes on an island right next to the fire. The fumes from the fire extinguisher ruined everything, leaving Gracie and Taylor with a terrible cough.

While Gracie panicked behind the camera, Taylor kept his cool… and now Gracie is hailing Taylor as a folk hero.
