Whether you're looking to prioritize flow, reduce stress, or simply make a room look neater, organization is key. Do you have a planner? Great! Do you actually fold and put away clean clothes? Great! But when it comes to the kitchen, organization is even more important. No cook wants a messy pile of spice jars, pots and pans stacked precariously on shelves, or a fridge full of various jars, cans, and seasonings.
“The kitchen is the hub of most homes, and how well it functions will impact how your morning starts!” says Ashley La Fond, founder of home organization company Of Space & Mind. Her kitchen organization plan starts with getting rid of anything that's taking up space you're not currently using. “Once you're organized, create a space plan and prioritize the things you reach for every day in the most accessible spaces (usually at eye level),” she explains. “When thinking about where to store items, focus on how (and how often) you use them.”
Now it's time to organize. We asked La Fond to recommend her favorite kitchen organization tools on Amazon. Here's what she had to say:

mDesign Large Expandable Plastic Rack

iDesign Kitchen Turntable
Lafond recommends adding a turntable to maximize storage space and reachability. “Adding a turntable is a great way to utilize tricky corners or small cabinets,” she says. “They're perfect for pantries or oil and spice cabinets, keeping items easy to access and see.” This pack comes with two clear turntables, each 11 inches wide.
mDesign Plastic Kitchen Pantry Organizer
Fridge organizers are a game changer for anyone who wants to store large quantities of canned goods, condiments, sauces, or small vegetables. They're also great for organizing pantry items. These organizers are stackable, so you can make the most of your vertical space. “When you have deep shelves or cabinets, things can easily get lost or hard to reach, so using containers that fit the depth helps you take advantage of all that space,” Lafond says. “Deep containers aren't widely available, so we use them all the time in our deep pantries, kid's dish drawers, and cabinets.”
