SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A new Mexican restaurant has opened on Chadbourne Street in San Angelo. Here's what you need to know.
The restaurant, Blue Agave Bar & Mexican Kitchen, had a soft opening June 26 at 1605 S. Chadbourne St.
“We're now open in San Angelo!” the restaurant announced in a social media post. “Blue Agave Bar & Mexican Kitchen – Come enjoy delicious Mexican food and refreshing drinks. Come taste the tradition!”
The building was formerly home to Troubadour's Bar & Grill, which announced it would close on March 25 after the break-in. In the weeks that followed, new restaurant signs appeared, heralding the opening of a new restaurant: Blue Agave Bar & Mexican Kitchen.
The new restaurant is the chain's third, joining two others in Abilene and Snyder. According to information gleaned from the San Angelo location's Facebook page, Blue Agave Bar & Mexican Kitchen is an “authentic Mexican restaurant and bar” that serves “delicious Mexican food.”
A menu posted by the San Angelo restaurant notes that Mexican and seafood dishes will be available, including quesadillas, tortas, shrimp and salmon.
