Craveworthy Brands, a fast-casual restaurant platform with 12 brands including Budlong Southern Chicken, has opened a shared kitchen concept, Craveworthy Kitchen, in downtown Chicago, USA.
The new shared kitchen concept is located on the second floor at 333 South Wabash Avenue in Hayden Hall.
Craveworthy Kitchen represents the company's unique effort to expand its presence in the co-branded space.
The new setup will allow customers to access Craveworthy's various brands in one place.
Hayden Hall's Craveworthy Kitchen is currently home to five of the company's brands: Budlong Southern Chicken, Krafted Smashburgers, Lucky Cat Poke Co, Pastilla Pizza & Pasta and newly opened breakfast spot Scramblin' Ed's.
The company also plans to launch three additional concepts, including full-service restaurants.

Located in a distinctive red exterior building known as “Big Red,” Hayden Hall was originally developed by DMK Restaurants and opened in early 2020.
However, it was forced to close shortly after due to the pandemic, with Craveworthy Brands now the first tenant to move into the space since it closed.
The 25,000-square-foot Hayden Hall will feature food court-style bays, a coffee shop and a full-service restaurant, all of which are part of Craveworthy's future plans.
There are currently five stalls operating, with the official opening planned for late summer or early fall of 2024.
The company is converting small to mid-sized brands into national franchises with a goal of $1 billion in system-wide sales by 2028. The company is continually looking for new brands to integrate.
“Craveworthy Kitchen at Hayden Hall marks a milestone for Craveworthy Brands and marks a new chapter in our company's history,” said Gregg Majewski, founder and CEO of Craveworthy Brands.
“Many of the brands featured here were born in the heart of Chicago and embody the city's vibrant culinary spirit.
“This venture highlights our relentless commitment to innovation, enabling our brands to thrive in new markets and stay ahead of evolving industry trends.”
In January 2024, Craveworthy Brands acquired a majority stake in Utah-based cookie chain Dirty Dough.
