If you read my post about the ALDI meat chopper you'll know that I try to minimise fancy gadgets in my kitchen (despite its accurate name, a meat chopper is far from fancy!) 15 years ago I didn't have these boundaries – I was trying to have it all!
Having kids also means owning more “stuff” and I've been doing my best to keep unnecessary possessions to a minimum, so I'll be honest, I was on the fence about buying an electric citrus juicer I found in the Dollar Spot section of Target, but in the end I went back and bought it.

I don't know how I ever lived without it.

My daughter has been wanting to do a lemonade stand for the past year, but she doesn't know it yet. But I'm going to secretly build one for her and give it to her as a surprise gift at the end of the month, so she'll actually get to see the fruits of her labor.
