The math was easy for Levi Kitchen, who earned his first Pro Motocross victory at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota. He won two motocross races over the weekend and claimed his first Pro Motocross victory. Kitchen joins Ty Masterpool, who earned his first win at High Point, and Chance Hymas, winner of last week's Red Bud, as his first winner of the season.
Kitchens finished second in the Monster Energy Supercross West division and carried that momentum into the outdoor season with podium finishes at Fox Raceway in Pala, California, and the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Rancho Cordova, California, but his ranking plummeted over the next four rounds with his best result being a fifth-place finish at Thunder Valley.
The timing of Kitchen's rapid growth is fortunate, as next week the series heads to his hometown track in Washougal, Washington, before taking a break for the Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals.

Heavy rain fell towards the end of the 450 Moto2 race, flooding the track and creating a chaotic second race for the 250 riders.
Hayden Deegan and last week's winner Chance Hymas collided at the front of the field at Turn 1 in Moto 2. Deegan's muffler was badly broken and was at almost a 90 degree angle to the bike as he tried to straddle it, causing him to quickly kick it back into position and try to charge from the back. Deegan managed to fight his way through a strong field to finish 4th in Moto 2, which, combined with his 3rd place in Race 1, puts him in 2nd in the overall standings.
More importantly, he finished ahead of his main rivals and extended his lead to 51 points – more than one round of racing.
Chance Hymas: “After the first race I was pretty pissed at the way I ran. I knew I had to take that anger somewhere… and I did in the second race.”
Casey Cochran's team had to tell him he'd run one of the best races of his career and earned his first motocross podium. Cochran was far enough away from the Turn 1 disaster that he didn't even realize it had happened. A few laps into the race, he looked over his shoulder and wondered where everyone was, he recalled in the post-race press conference. Kitchens caught him on lap 9 and dropped him to second, but he combined his ninth place in Moto 1 with his third place overall.
Max Anstie was the happiest rider out of the field when the rain came. He won his first Supercross race on the muddy New Jersey track, but as a native Brit, he's more used to riding in those conditions than his competition. His great attitude earned him third place in moto two and seventh overall after finishing seventh in moto one.
Dylan Schwartz rounded out the top five with a 10th-place finish in moto 1 and a sixth-place finish in moto 2. Schwartz’s best finish to date in the motocross series is seventh, which he has earned twice in 2021 at Fox Raceway and Hangtown.
Other points contenders include Tom Viale and Jo Shimoda, who suffered heavy damage in a crash at turn one in Moto2.
Viale finished 17th in the race, runner-up in Moto1 and 7th overall.
Shimoda placed 4th in the first race and failed to score any points in the second race, finishing 13th overall.
