Coffee lovers say they are saving a lot of money thanks to a kitchen gadget that lets them make Starbucks or Costa-style iced coffee at home.
If you like your caffeine hot, or even iced, you can make your coffee in minutes with a simple home system, without spending your hard-earned money.
The Breville Iced and Hot Coffee Maker has been slashed by 33% ahead of Amazon Prime Day and is currently on sale for £44.99.
A medium iced Americano at Starbucks costs around £3.55 depending on where you buy it. If you buy one every day, that comes to £24.85 a week and £99.40 a month.
At Costa, a medium iced black Americano costs around £3.05 depending on where you buy it, which means your daily coffee will cost you £21.35 a week, or around £90 a month.
That means, considering a packet of Starbucks ground coffee costs around £4.50, a home system could add up to savings over around two weeks.
With Breville's system, coffee lovers simply fill the tank with water, add ground coffee, and choose whether they want their drink hot or cold.
Customers seem to be impressed with the gadget, giving it a rating of 4.4/5 across 1,988 reviews.
One satisfied customer said: “I've been using this little machine daily for almost two months now and I absolutely love it. It's really easy to use and gives perfect results every time. I'm very happy.”
Another added: “I love this. My son spends a ton of money on iced coffee so I bought him this and he loves it.”
A third said: “As good as the iced coffees I've had from the coffee shops I've spent loads of money on. Definitely a money saver.”
Another added: “Tastes exactly the same as if you paid £5 for it in a coffee shop.”
However, the reviews weren't all perfect, with some customers commenting that the machine drips coffee, while others say the cups are difficult to clean.
There are several other iced coffee machines on the market, including Aldi's Ambiano Iced Coffee Maker, which was reduced from £19.99 to £12.99 last week.
Amazon is also selling a Drew & Cole iced coffee machine for £37.99 (at the time of writing), as well as a cold brew system for around £20.
Before you buy, shop around and make sure you are getting the best price in the market.
Also, remember that just because something is discounted doesn't necessarily mean you'll save money.
It's not necessarily a good deal if you never intended to buy the item in the first place.
