New episodes will be posted to Douek's TikTok and Instagram pages, beginning Wednesday, July 17th. Comic Book Kitchen As Dooku talks about comics, he shares personal recipes inspired by the comics' themes, characters, and settings. Combining the world of comic books with delicious food, the exciting new web series Comic Book Kitchen launches on Wednesday, July 17th and promises a unique combination of fan-favorite comics and tasty cuisine.
Hosted by acclaimed author Rich Dooku, known for compelling works such as “Road of Bones” and “Sea of Sorrows,” Comic Book Kitchen aims to highlight both iconic and underrated comics. With a background in working on well-known characters such as Spider-Man and Superman, Dooku brings a wealth of experience and passion to this innovative enterprise.

In addition to his talents as a writer, Douc also shares his deep love of cooking, which he developed from his family's restaurant business. “Cooking has always been a part of my life,” Douc added. “I may not be able to wield a chef's knife like a pro, but I bring passion and punchy flavors to my cooking. It's all about sharing the things I love with like-minded people.”
In each episode of Comic Book Kitchen, Douek will share recipes inspired by comics and their themes, characters and settings. From hearty meals to delicious desserts, viewers can expect a feast for both the eyes and the tongue.
