While you'll save $60 in this Prime Day sale, it's not the cheapest price Amazon has ever sold this display for. It will drop to $184.99 in November 2023, making it the lowest price ever. This smart display has been on the market for over two years, and Amazon has yet to release a second-generation version.
One of the unique features of this smart display is its widgets, which can be customized in a variety of ways so that your home screen has all the relevant information you need. We really liked the Echo Show 15 when we reviewed it, but it's not without its flaws. The rear-facing speakers make it hard to hear conversations clearly.
The visual ID system, which uses the front-facing camera to authenticate users, is a bit clunky, and the camera quality isn't great. If you don't absolutely need a wall-mounted option, there are plenty of other Prime Day smart home deals worth checking out.
