Friends, please forgive me if I rant a little.
I am horrified that the greatest president of my lifetime is being undermined by his own party. The stakes are too high.

Human Rights, Mass Deportations and Concentration Camps
Democracy Vs. fascism (Project 2025 and would-be dictators)
But here we are. The campaign of our greatest President is being thwarted by his own side. We know he is old…but he is smart. Look at all he has accomplished! We know he stutters…he always has. We know he is mortal (all Presidents are)…that is why he has a great Vice President by his side. Why is this happening? Now? Is the election coming up? Let's not forget, millions of us voted for President Biden in the primaries. Please calm me down. I don't like this movie at all.
Here are some announcements for you as we approach the weekend.
I will miss Bob Newhart so much. He had so many great roles, so many rich, deadpan comedy moments. But the way I feel, he's remembered as Major Major Major Major. Catch 22:
Rest in peace Bob, and thanks for all the laughs.
Absurdly, I found an interesting show from Finland streaming on MhZ, Stop Nyqvist.. It has a bit of flavor The doctor's abnormal love. Nyqvist is a low-ranking intern at the Finnish State Department who gets promoted way above his field to become the highly flexible head of a new spy agency that employs just one superspy. Unfortunately, Nyqvist sends the spy to destroy a submarine in the Gulf of Finland only to realize too late that it's a NATO submarine. Needless to say, this goes very badly. Nyqvist tries to hide his mistake from the US, Russia, Sweden and Denmark, but chaos ensues. Oh, and his bosses too. They too.
Another thing I enjoy is… well, I just started reading a heartwarming mystery with Julia Child as the main character. It's called “Mastering the Art of French Murder” by Colleen Cambridge. I was hooked from the first line.
Julia Child had a mayonnaise problem.
I'll let you know what happens later, but it looks promising.
