Drew Barrymore launched the Beautiful series with an important ideology in mind. “I like to create what I want to see in the world…so I made that happen with Beautiful by Her Drew, and I'm so thrilled with the results.” This is what he said when he introduced it to the world. Almost three years later, the same idea remains. The new “Kitchen Island Table” is here to prove it.
According to the release, this unconventional “kitchen island” (original name: “Beautiful Kitchen Cart on Wheels”) is a solution for “people who want more storage, a place to sit, or something to separate their kitchen or living room.” That's what it means. Despite its name, this work is not limited to our cooking spaces.
“The kitchen island has a butcher block material on top, racks to store glassware, shelves to stock products and cookbooks, and the best part is, it has wheels! It’s about being able to move whenever you need to,” explains the Beautiful team.
Although this cart is not a traditional island, it offers the same kitchen storage qualities as a larger cart. And in true Drew style, it seamlessly combines beauty and functionality. With two bottom shelves, the cart has ample storage space for your everyday essentials, providing organized and accessible storage that's easy to move around.
Similarly, include a wine glass holder under the tabletop to add a touch of sophistication and turn your cart into a handy minibar when entertaining guests. With an al fresco dinner and cocktail evening just a few weeks away (and I say that with hope), I plan to test this feature in my outdoor kitchen and terrace as the sun goes down.

With a durable black metal frame and contemporary gold accents, this elegant kitchen island table will change the way you store and cook goods in the future.
After all, this cart has all the features of an island, so apart from storage, it also provides space for preparing food. The rubberwood table top provides a warm surface that's perfect for preparing and serving food (perfect for carrying the cart into the dining room). The cart's mobility is enhanced by its four caster wheels, making it easy to maneuver around the kitchen or anywhere else.
Its size means this island is compact enough to fit into the smallest kitchens, yet can also accommodate larger spaces that already have islands built into them. Because who doesn't need more space and storage?
Islands aside, we're revisiting some of our favorite pieces designed by Drew that are worthy of a place on your countertop. We continue to love her rosé colorway. Available below.
