ASHEVILLE — An Asheville restaurant remains closed due to a kitchen fire.On May 29, Asheville Fire Department spokesperson Kelly Klopp confirmed in an email that the fire broke out at Stone Ridge Tavern, located at 1003 Brevard Road, and that the Asheville Fire Department was dispatched to the area around 1:30 p.m. on May 25 in response to a report of a structure fire.”No one was in the building at the time the fire started,” Klopp said, adding that no one was injured.The damage was confined to the kitchen.AFD detected “light smoke,” but an investigation determined the fire was out.…
