I love hotels with kitchens. They are especially convenient for vegan travelers or those with dietary restrictions or allergies. Depending on the area, you may not have a lot of choice when it comes to restaurants. Even if you don't have any particular food aversions, eating out three times a day can be hard on even the most steel-stomach traveler, especially on the wallet. Buying groceries and cooking “at home” is a great way to eat more balanced meals and save money while traveling, especially when you have kids.
Hotels with full kitchens that you can book with points may seem like the unicorn of the travel world, but they're actually not uncommon. Most of the major points hotels have extended-stay or suites-only brands where each room has a full kitchen with an oven and stove, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, and refrigerator. These brands often offer additional amenities like laundry, high-speed Internet, and free breakfast, and many are pet-friendly. Though designed with the long-term traveler in mind, most hotels can also be booked for overnight or weekend getaways.
While some brands offer kitchenettes with only a mini-fridge and microwave — enough to heat up restaurant leftovers but not enough to cook for yourself — for this list, we'll focus on hotels with full kitchens that you can book using points.

World of Hyatt hotels with full kitchens
Hyatt's loyalty program, World of Hyatt, is still known for using a points chart, allowing travelers to get great value from their points. Hyatt has two hotel brands that offer full kitchens.
Hyatt House is designed for extended-stay travelers and offers laundry facilities, pet-friendly rooms, outdoor grilling areas, a 24-hour grab-and-go market, and special items like yoga mats and blenders available to borrow at the front desk. However, not all rooms have full kitchens. For example, at Hyatt House Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, you can book a room with a kitchenette for as little as 8,000 World of Hyatt points. To book a room with a full kitchen, you'll need to book a suite for as little as 13,000 points.
Hyatt Vacation Club properties offer more luxurious suites and villas, most of which have kitchens. The Lanahan, a cozy hideaway in Colorado's Rocky Mountains, is a great option, with suites starting at 21,000 points per night and villas starting at 36,000 points.
Some Destination by Hyatt properties, like Kaanapali Alii and Lahaina Shores Beach Resort on Maui, offer kitchens in every room, but this isn't a brand-wide feature, so be sure to check the amenities at each hotel.

For U.S. travel, Choice's portfolio includes four extended stay brands, but not all can be booked with points: WoodSpring Suites does not participate in the Choice Privileges program, so you can't earn or redeem points at WoodSpring properties.

These brands offer additional amenities like laundry, free breakfast, and pet-friendly rooms.
