As New Yorkers, we have a special relationship with Black people. Where others might see darkness, death, or general apocalypse, we see power colors that allow us to dress effortlessly from day to night. Colors are always elegant, never go out of style, and there are plenty of options to suit every budget and closet. But now, in a surprising development for spring, this color is appearing everywhere in home decor.
Mid-century modernists have always embraced black leather in a very tailored way.
