Bravo! Italian Kitchen in Livonia will reopen on Thursday after closing about a year ago due to fire damage.
In July 2023, the Italian restaurant at 17700 Haggerty closed after a fire and smoke damage that appeared to have started near the restaurant's freezer and storage area damaged the restaurant.
“The cause of the fire is unknown, but authorities believe it started near Bravo's freezer and storage area,” said Emily Bishop, senior vice president of Earl Enterprises, which operates Bravo. “The fire caused damage to the rear of the restaurant and smoke and soot damage in the dining room.”
Bravo! Known for its made-from-scratch modern Italian cuisine focused on and inspired by Mediterranean ingredients and the Amalfi Coast, Italian Kitchen is welcoming guests back in a newly renovated and remodeled space.
“Words cannot express how grateful we are for the support the Livonia community has shown us, and we would like to especially thank the emergency responders who assisted us when the accident forced us to close our doors,” Bishop said. “We are excited to get back to doing what we do best – giving back to the community with flavorful Italian food and great hospitality.”
